FOR:

My Missing Dad

Dear St. Anthony of Padua, faithful servant of God and intercessor for what is lost, I humbly come before you as a son seeking light in a long season of uncertainty.

My father, Cletus Nwankwo Onah, disappeared in November 2002. He travelled from Lagos to Enugu on a business trip and was never heard from again. Before his disappearance, he had been under financial pressure and distress, as revealed in the note he left for our family. Since that time, our family has lived with unanswered questions and silent grief.

St. Anthony, you who are known as the patron of lost things and lost persons, I ask for your intercession.
If my father is alive, may God protect him, guide him, and bring truth and reconciliation according to His will.
If he has departed from this world, may God grant him mercy, forgiveness, and eternal rest.

Above all, I ask for peace.
Peace for my heart.
Peace for my family.
Peace in the face of uncertainty.
Help me to trust in God’s justice.

Amen
