I pray this intention doesn’t seem selfish. I struggle so much with comprehensive knowledge and understanding. I’m in a Spiritual Direction class and some of the books we are reading is difficult to understand the core concepts. I want to be a good Spiritual Director so I am asking the Lord to open my mind and strengthen the gifts of wisdom and understanding.
I also need strength in saying NO to all temptation to eat during the middle of the night and to stay away from sweets.
