Happy New Year, and I hope you are well and ready for this New Year of 2022! I just received a letter last week from a woman named Mary. Since Mary is now in a nursing care facility, she thought her usefulness as a member of St. Anthony’s Guild was over. I wrote back to her saying that one of the greatest needs for the Guild members and the Friars are prayers. I reminded her that she now has more time to pray, and she has become our PRAYER SISTER! We Friars could not do what we do at St. Anthony’s Guild without her and your prayers and support. Now, Mary prays to God and St. Anthony on behalf of you and all the other members of St. Anthony’s Guild and all those in poverty that the Friars care for. Remember some powerful truths about being a member of our St. Anthony’s Guild family:
• The Franciscan Friars are praying DAILY for you and your intentions
• You and your intentions will be remembered at DAILY Mass with the Friars
• Membership in St. Anthony’s Guild means it’s not just you, it’s about the Friars and all of us together
Let us pray and financially support our work:
Please take this opportunity to renew your membership in our Community of St. Anthony’s Guild.
