St. Anthony’s Guild invites you to light a virtual candle in honor of St. Anthony. Along with your candle you can submit an intention for yourself, a loved one or in memory of someone you have lost.
There is no charge for lighting a virtual candle. Your candle will burn for approximately 9 days.
Myself and my dog
Last year I found myself homeless and living in my truck. My dog nearly had heatstroke so I left her with my ex's sister and I continued living in my truck. During this time my brother chose to beat the crap out of me for reasons that are not true. A couple weeks later I was in an accident and found out recently I'll need back surgery. I've been staying in a friend's garage but can't much longer. My dog also managed to hurt her back. It's scary because I can't work to take care of us and have no one else to help us. I just ask for prayers that we will have money soon to get a place and that I will be approved for disability since I'm not able to work. I'm 45 and have always worked. I feel useless and alone.
