There is no charge for lighting a virtual Christmas candle, which will burn for approximately 9 days.
The Improvement of the Montgomery, AL Public Transportation System
Please pray that Montgomery, AL, will soon have a decent public transportation system that will benefit visually impaired people like myself. Its response to the backlash of the famed 1955 Montgomery Bus Boycott was to do away with the public transportation system, and the last time it was a reasonable system was 30 years ago. Birmingham, Alabama's public transit system is better. But there is a sad irony that the state that honors the deaf and blind Helen Keller as its heroine has a capitol city that still can't be as accommodating to the visually or physically challenged as it could be.
