There is no charge for lighting a virtual candle. Your candle will burn for approximately 9 days.

(26) Purification of the Heart: Prayer is the response of faith to the free promise
of salvation and also a response of love to the thirst of the only Son of God.
Et haurietis aquas in gaudio de fontibus salutis. Prayer touches upon our need
for humility and for equanimity in carrying our crosses. (Equanimity is calamity’s medicine. —Publilius Syrus. Physicians, to be sure, must possess equanimity.
But so must everyone else.) Sicut aqua profunda consilium in corde viri, sed homo sapiens exhauriet illud. Oh my God, You know my weakness and failings,
and that without Your help I can accomplish nothing for the good of souls,
my own and others’. Grant me, therefore, the help of Your grace. Grant it according to my particular needs this day. Enable me to see the task You will set before me
in the daily routine of my life, and help me work hard at my appointed tasks.
Teach me to bear patiently all the trials of suffering or failure that may come
to me today. Amen.
